Can a player be cut?

Do I have to attend all tryouts?

We will do our best to find a developmentally appropriate spot for every player that attends tryouts.

Ideally, yes. The more the coaching staff gets a chance to evaluate your child’s ability, the more likely they are to form an accurate assessment and assign them to the appropriate team. If you can’t make all the sessions please let the age-level coaches know.  Returning Legends Players should make every attempt to attend all tryout sessions, however returning players are guaranteed a roster spot.

When will schedules
and coaching assignments
be posted?

Tryout schedules are already posted HERE.  Coaching assignments will be posted as soon as teams are assembled.

What is the difference between Pre-Tryout Evaluation and tryouts?

Team coaches will be at both the Pre-Evaluations during the week and the tryouts on the weekend. It is strongly recommended that players attend both the Pre-Evaluation and the tryouts. Offers cannot be made until Sunday June 10th.h

Should parents attend try-outs?

Parents are encouraged to watch the tryout sessions, but do not have to be present.  Tryouts can be a stressful time for some children so if you are new to the club or new to the tryout setting it would be a good idea for parents to be present to support their child.

How soon will I know
if I make the team?

Age group coaches will contact each player and/or family directly or via phone call.  You should know which team your child has made within 24 hours of the last tryout. All players with birth years of our teams will be offered roster spots.

What if I’m out of town and can’t attend the tryouts?

Email [email protected] and we'll get back to you with alternatives.   The Legends club will run tryouts throughout June and will have options for all players.

Can I stay with my
team from last year?

Parents can let the coach know that is the player’s preference and that will be taken into considertion.

Can I play up?
